April 11 and March 28 meeting updates
Next Meeting is on Monday, 6:15 p.m. April 11, 2011 at the Royal Fork. We have a number of projects this month which include the CCDHH District contest we are hosting, our club oratorical contests, and the Beaver Bike Safety. This is an important meeting to attend and details of these projects and other events will be announced. All members are urged to attend and please bring a potential new member for a fun night! Last meeting was on March 28th and about 35 members & guests enjoyed the game evening. VP Peggy ran a fabulous meeting. She reminded us all about wearing an Optimist pin and fined those who forgot to wear them. But the amount however was not high and she indicated this is all in fun. A couple of reports were presented and then we played a game of figuring out the name of the town or community in Alberta based on a riddle. The meeting ended about 8pm which was a delight to many!
