Choir Performance

On Saturday, November 3rd, the Brail Tone choir will be performing in Red
Deer at the Capri Center. The performance is at 12:30 p.m. and at 2 p.m.
some of the choir members will be giving a presentation on the choir's
history.

First Quarter District Meeting

The first quarter district meeting took place on Friday, October 26th and
Saturday, October 27th in Saskatoon Saskatchewan. There was a meet and greet
Friday evening with the theme being Halloween. On Saturday, the business
meeting started at 8:30 a.m. and the morning consisted of reports and a
Chinese auction. We had a guest speaker during the lunch break who gave a
great presentation. The afternoon consisted of workshops, full of
information for optimists to take back to their clubs. The business meeting
continued at 3:15 p.m. and concluded just after 4 o'clock. The good food, at
the banquet, added to what was already a good weekend.

October 22nd Meeting

Our next meeting is at 6:15 pm on  October 22nd in the Royal Fork.   This

meeting which will feature President Peggy’s first meeting.  All members are urged to attend and guests are most welcome, especially potential new members.

The Cub Bikeree next May has been set for

Saturday May 11, 2013. Each year about 200

participate in this event.
