CCDHH Medal Presentation
Zone Meeting
The first/second quarter zone meeting was held
Saturday, January 12 at The West
Jasper/Sherwood Community Centre. About 20
Optimists attended the meeting representing all
but one club. The St Albert Club had a fund
raising event and could not attend. Lt Gov Geoff
ran a great meeting which consisted of club
reports, a workshop, 50/50 draw, and door prizes.
Brett Gore an Awards Officer for The Duke of
Edinburgh's Award gave us a most interesting
presentation on the program. With thanks to Opt
Samantha, a lunch of Chili and soup was enjoyed
by all following the meeting.
