Yellowhead Casino-March 25th meeting
Our next meeting is at 6:15 pm on March 25th at the Yellowhead Casino, 12464 - 153rd St, in the Coral room. From 149 St. or 156 St, access is off 123 Avenue. We have two programs coming, one is Little Warriors who will be giving us a program and we will be donating towards their camps. Brad from the Duke of Edinburgh awards will be on hand to receive a presentation from Gov Glen for giving us a program at the High River Board Meeting. All members are urged to attend this meeting at a brand new location.

2013 -3rd Quarter Zone Meeting
Everything is now in place for the third quarter zone
meeting. The zone meeting will be on Sunday, April
21, starting at 10 a.m. It will be at the Maple Leaf
Athletic Club. Address, 12133 - 67 St. NW. The
meeting will consist of club reports, a workshop on
Internet Safety, election for the next LG, and lunch.
All optimists are strongly urged to attend this meeting.

St. Albert Breakfast Inter Club Visit
Members from the Edmonton Dinner and Leduc Black Gold attended a breakfast meeting in St. Albert. We learned that the Breakfast Club are supporting Scouts and Roller Derby. The St. Albert Inn cooked up a great breakfast and a lot of socializing happened during the meeting.
Beverly Optimist Club St. Patricks Day Crib Game
On March 17, 2013 about 30 attended a great tournament hosted by the Beverly Club. Eight
members from our club participated and enjoyed some great food and superb hospitality.
Congratulation to the Beverly club for earning Honour Club Status. Past Lt Gov Peggy presented
the Certificates and Banner Patches.
