Our next meeting is in the Edmonton Room in the Continental Inn, 16625 Stony Plain Road on March 14, 2016 6:15 pm. This will be a program meeting, and this will be our NOW event. Join us for a buffet dinner.
New Optimists Welcome event will be a special program presented by the membership committee and no business will be conducted. Instead a series of presentations will be given on our Optimist Club. Special guest Shawn Bishop a Area Commissioner of Scouts Canada will be giving a presentation on our role with Scouts. A unique power point presentation will be given on the various activities through out the years, past and current. We have a Optimist international video on Optimism world wide. Governor Edie Harris will be addressing our Club.
We expect at least fifteen guests to learn about our club. All members are urged to attend and are asked to bring a guest. Special Invitation cards are available to give to your guests. This will also be an excellent opportunity for newer members to learn about our organization. Contact Opt Lucile for additional details.
