On April 28th and 29th, over one hundred Optimists will converge in Edmonton for our District Meeting at the Ramada Kingsway 11834 Kingsway. The excitement starts Friday afternoon. Registration begins at 4pm and an executive meeting will be held at 5pm. A social mixer,open to all Optimists will be in the "Locker Room", a sports bar at the west end of the hotel. Please attend and meet all the Optimists.
The Brail Tone Choir will out Saturday morning to entertain us and after the flags are presented they will sing the national anthems. Government greeting and the District Oratorical contest will be held Saturday morning. A CCDHH presentation will be made during lunch and a SafeStart presentation will be held in the afternoon. Educational workshops will be held. The event winds up with the Governors Banquet in the evening. Contact Opt Keivin if you are interested in attending.
